The Task:
The client sought to use and develop the land for a Childcare Centre. The existing building was proposed to be demolished to accommodate a double storey building for a Childcare Centre. The existing crossovers on Creek Street would be reinstated, as one crossover was being proposed.
The Outcome:
With efficient flow of the project maintained by our team and external consultants such as Co-Lab Architects, there was successful feedback from council through the granting of a permit. The proposal proved to be an appropriate use of the site and its surrounding area. The large playground area to the rear of the site, and landscaping within the front setback of this site work towards enhancing the environmental values of Melton. The Childcare Centre is an essential service to the local community and would ensure positive contributions to the municipality and local neighborhood.
