The client sought to develop a Childcare Centre and 7 Residential Dwellings on the site. The proposed Childcare Centre has provided a separate entry and exit accessways through Guru Boulevard. 18 on-site car parking spaces were proposed with an additional 4 car parks proposed on Guru Boulevard. The proposed 7 residential dwellings provide a single entry and exit accessway into the site.

The proposal provides housing diversity by offering a total of seven detached dwellings that come in different types, taking into consideration that this site was vacant. The dwellings are well located and are accessed through a double width driveway from Guru Boulevard. The proposal provides opportunity for employment in the childcare center and also provides for the needs of the local community, sited at a convenient location. The design, height and setbacks respect the neighbourhood character. With fully illustrative architectural designs by New Edge Studio, the proposal received great support from council due to its unique design and concept.
